Client Requirements:

A large, Lebanon-based producer of cereal-based products needed to expand its current range of Jacob White machines. They were looking for a time-sensitive solution to adjusting their packaging machine for a range of multiple products. They came to Jacob White Packaging to add a further packaging machine with the following list of requirements:

• Ability to cope with multiple different products daily

Our Solution

We already had a deep understanding of the company, having worked with them on the design and installation of many other semi-automatic packaging machines. The range of delicate cereal-based products they offer was increasing in demand and we understood that they wanted to speed up production and minimise downtime during product run changeovers.

Jacob White recommended the RSB 3 semi-automatic cartoning machine, due to its handling capabilities and speeds of up to 100 cartons per minute. It does this while meeting all the hygiene requirements for food packaging and enabling social distancing of the workforce.

The RSB 3 enhances vital food packaging quality control by being operated on-demand. Using a rotary motion vacuum system, cartons can be picked and erected automatically, placed onto continuously moving flighted chains and manually loaded. Sealing and discharging are done automatically, which also helps to minimise human contact or intervention.

Our returning client selected the RSB 3 packaging machine, the perfect addition to their current range of machines. This gave them a semi-automated solution with variable speed and size range. Fast changeover with no additional parts needed, the RSB 3 enabled the multiple-product packaging lines they were looking for.
