Help Reduce the Spread of Coronavirus

Posted by Carla Colwell

With the current outbreak of Coronavirus, (COVID-19) affecting the world so widely, it has highlighted how quickly and easily bacteria can spread through the population through simple human contact. The current universal consensus is that handwashing plays a critical role in minimising the risk of the spread of Coronavirus, in addition to the wearing of masks that cover the nose and mouth.

This also highlights concern within the packaging industry, particularly within manual production and packaging lines, that human intervention presents a higher risk of the spread of bacteria. Although the food packaging environment is often a sterile place, as you would also find in the pharmaceutical packaging sector, for example, there is still a human element that cannot fully be negated.

Jacob White hope that our worldwide clients and colleagues stay safe, healthy and unaffected by the COVID-19 virus.
