A Round-up of 2022 and Looking Ahead to 2023
As we step into a new year – our 115th - we wanted to reflect on a busy 2022 for us and for the wider packaging industry. With accelerating demand creating new opportunities across all sectors, it has been a year of increasing flexibility and future proofing for many of our clients.
New packaging machines and innovative tailoring
This year, the innovators at Jacob White really came into their own, tailoring solutions to meet very specific client requirements. Through close consultation, knowledge and unmatched experience, the team worked with clients to clear industry-wide, historical hurdles in tissue packaging.
New machines have been launched and Jacob White continues to tailor industry leading packaging line functionality like no one else.
The HS-T 6 was launched at the end of 2021 and hit the ground running in 2022, with high speed automatic cartoning taking tissue packaging to the next level.
The Jacob White NS-X 2 was designed with flexibility in mind, with its ability to handle a wide range of products, orientations and carton sizes. Flexible enough to handle even the most delicate items, the proved to be the ideal solution for box tissue packaging.
Face-to-face meetings and on-site consultations
Every packaging machine line that we implement starts with an in-depth, on-site consultation with our potential client. This is how we build a comprehensive picture of your business, your packaging needs and your existing working processes.
Since embracing virtual technologies from the start of widespread lockdowns, we’ve found ourselves able to connect on a new level with both existing and new clients all over the world. While we are now able to travel freely, this additional connectivity is beneficial on all sides.
Exhibitions and trade shows
Exhibitions and trade shows form a bit part of our strategy at Jacob White. We showcase packaging machines and network with our industry peers and clients in a focussed environment. Towards the end of the year, we attended Gulfood Manufacturing and enjoyed a fantastic, successful event.
What lies ahead for Jacob White in 2023?
In 2023, we’ll be planning to attend more events and showcasing machines and solutions around the world. We also plan to support growth in emerging regional markets and already work with a growing number of packaging companies increasing flexibility to harness these opportunities.
We will be keeping our clients and friends updated throughout the coming new year and we’d really enjoy meeting you at the next trade show.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our clients, colleagues, suppliers and friends for your support, business and goodwill every year. We look forward to continuing to work with you and support your projects in 2023.
